TL;DR. Your AI chats stay on your Mac. We never see them, never store them, never train on them. The only data that ever leaves your device is what you explicitly send to your chosen AI provider (Claude, OpenAI, Google) using your own account, plus the bare minimum we need to process your subscription with Stripe.
What we collect
Your email address. Collected by Stripe at checkout so we can identify your subscription. Used only for billing — we never email you marketing.
Your Stripe customer ID. Stored locally on your Mac as your "license." Sent to our backend only to verify your subscription is still active.
An anonymous device ID. Generated on first launch, used only as Stripe checkout metadata so we can correlate trial-to-paid conversion.
Voice transcription audio (briefly). If you use the dictation feature, your audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper via our backend, transcribed, and discarded. We never store the audio. You can disable dictation at any time.
What we do NOT collect
The content of your conversations with Claude, GPT, Gemini, or any other AI provider — those go directly from your Mac to that provider, using your own account and API keys. We're not in the path.
Telemetry, analytics, usage tracking, or "anonymized" behavioral data. None.
Your files, your workspace contents, your terminal output. All local.
IP addresses beyond what Vercel's standard request logging captures for the seconds-long lifetime of an API call.
Who we share with
Stripe — handles all payment processing. We never see or store your card. Stripe's privacy policy.
Google — when you choose "Sign in with Google" on a new device, your email is verified by Google's OAuth servers. We receive only your verified email address.
OpenAI — if you use voice dictation. Only the audio of that one recording, never your chats or any context. OpenAI's privacy policy.
The AI providers you choose (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) — when you chat with them, you're using your own account directly. Their privacy terms govern that interaction.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by cancelling your subscription via Manage subscription in the app or on this site. Once cancelled, your Stripe customer record is retained only as long as legally required for financial recordkeeping.
Children
MultipleAI is not directed at anyone under 13. If you believe we've inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change anything material, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top and post a notice in the app the next time you open it.
